Meet Dr. Ayas Makki
Dr. Makki graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, he served as class president, was involved in many research projects, and received an award of Appreciation from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry for exceptional job performance and dedication to the Department of Orthodontics, and Frances Best Matkins Award in recognition of outstanding leadership skills and academic excellence.
He went on to further his dental education by accepting an orthodontic residency position at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he graduated with honors and received the best resident award. In 2021 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Makki is involved in organized dentistry and orthodontics and holds memberships with many associations, including:

In his free time, Dr. Makki enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and playing and composing music.
